Tobacco Education
& Outreach
At the core of Proposition 10 is the intent to increase community
awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco, with the ultimate
goal of reducing the purchase and consumption of tobacco products.
First 5 Madera County aims to build the capacity of funded programs
by offering prepackaged materials, curriculum and visuals via
a lending library for incorporation into existing programs.
With age appropriate materials for young children, adults and
the family unit, First 5 Madera County also offers workshops
and trainings to parent groups, service clubs, providers, etc.
To receive tobacco education and outreach materials for distribution
to parents or for a tobacco awareness presentation, you may
order them by filling out the Tobacco
Materials Order Form and fax it to Diane Sandoval at 559-675-4950.
Previews of available items are listed below. Please do not
duplicate the printed materials, ask Diane if you need additional
copies.
